Responsive web design is here to stay. So when a logo design lends itself to having two or three variants, with differing levels of deatil, why not take advantage of that? A ‘full’ version of the logo can be used in situations where there is plenty of space, and on the web, smaller, simpler versions can be served for smaller spaces or smaller screens.
